Why send your
Child to Catholic Schools? |
| The most important assignment husbands and wives have from God is
to see that their children are properly educated. When parents, therefore,
choose a school for their children, they delegate to the teachers a large part
of their responsibilities and a significant portion of their child's education.

Pro-Choice on Catholic Education |
| The child is not a mere creature of the state. Parents have the
primary responsibility to see how and where their children are educated."

Catholic Schools
need Everyone's Help |
Whether you are a parent or not, examine the following reasons
for helping Catholic schools:

Parent's Prayer
All praise to You, Lord Jesus, Lover of children: Bless our family, And help us to lead our children to You. Give us light and strength, And courage when our task is difficult. Let Your Spirit fill us with love and peace, So that we may help our children to love You. All glory and praise are Yours, Lord Jesus, For ever and ever.
Amen. |

Our Mission |
| The mission of Our Lady of Guadalupe Academy is to provide a
safe, nurturing, Catholic faith-filled learning environment for children 2 1/2
through 6 years of age. Children will experience our Catholic-Christian
faith though daily classroom formation as we work to help them develop,
maintain, and support their Catholic identity and grow in God’s love.
We encourage
and support children to be actively involved in the learning
process, to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate
activities and materials and to pursue their own interests in the
context of life in the community and the world. We believe
play is the work of the young child. It is through play
children develop in all learning domains: spiritual, cognitive,
social, emotional, and physical.
We support
parents as their child’s first and most important teacher and work
to build a spiritual learning community based on respect and social
justice. |
